Built by a maker,
for makers.
EngraveIQ turns photos and ideas into clean, engraving-ready files in seconds — so you can spend less time fighting Photoshop and more time at the laser.
Our mission
Most engraving software was built for engineers, not artists. Anyone who has spent an hour tweaking thresholds, fighting bitmap traces, or redrawing customer photos at midnight knows the pain.
We're here to fix that. EngraveIQ gives makers a fast, opinionated workflow that goes from "customer just sent me a blurry phone pic" to "ready to engrave" in a couple of clicks — without sacrificing control when you want it.
Why we built it
EngraveIQ started in a small home workshop. After running an Etsy shop full of personalised wood and leather pieces — and dealing with the same image-cleanup headaches over and over — it became obvious that the tools makers actually need just didn't exist as a single product.
Photopea, Inkscape, online vectorisers, half-broken background-removal sites, ChatGPT for prompts — every order meant juggling four or five tabs. So we built the tool we wished we had: one place to convert, clean, vectorise, preview on a mockup, and dial in laser settings.
What you can do here
How we think about the tool
- Fast beats fancy. If a workflow takes more than a few clicks, we've done something wrong.
- Live preview over apply-and-wait. You should see the result the second you move a slider.
- Compatible with what you already use. Files come out clean for LightBurn, Glowforge, xTool, and anything else that opens PNG or SVG.
- No locked-in subscriptions. Buy credits, use them when you need them. Subscribe only if it actually saves you money.
- Made for repeat work. Save styles you like, batch through orders, and keep your laser settings in one place.
Who it's for
Hobbyists doing their first Glowforge name tag. Etsy shops cutting through fifty Christmas orders in a weekend. Workshops running diode and CO₂ machines side by side. If you turn images into things made of wood, leather, acrylic, slate, or metal — this is for you.
